On stage, he appears like a spectrum of light, haloed by bright and vivid colours. Backstage, the camera gives flesh to the “cursed dandy, a little aged”, and a fragile and touching being is revealed: we are in 2002 and Christophe is preparing his big comeback on stage at the Olympia, after 28 years of absence. The filmmakers and visual artists Ange Leccia and Dominique Gonzalez-Foerster propose this duality in a film-concert which spans several years of collaboration.
