LIVE PERFORMANCE

The artist Leen van Dommelen will be giving a continuous performance
at ISELP from 3.30 p.m. to 6.00 p.m.

Leen Van Dommelen is a performer and visual artist based in Brussels. She studied sculpture at La Cambre Brussels and received a master's degree in visual art and choreography at ISAC (Institut Supérieur des Arts et Chorégraphies de l'Académie des Beaux Arts de Bruxelles).

Through her work, she dissects the body in a fragile game between cruelty and poetry, control and loss of control. Creating space for what is repressed and hidden in each of us, the invisible inner backstage that connects us all. Through tangible imagination exploring, trying to transform and extend to the outside of our bodies the subtlety of emotions. between the viewer's gaze and the introspective, self-conscious eye.

With a nod to childhood but with the seriousness of a child's play, her work, made up of performances and installations, seeks a vulnerable confrontation between the viewer's gaze and the introspective, self-conscious eye.
