HOME AWAY FROM HOME - THE WORLD OF DO-HO SUH

Do-Ho Suh (1962) imagines and designs astonishing architectural sculptures out of fabric. His large-scale installations are hand-sewn reconstructions of the homes in which he once lived. His meticulous, painstaking work evokes memory, migration and the idea of ‘home’. Marjoleine Boonstra’s documentary follows the artist in his practice in a flat in New York and in his parents’ traditional house in South Korea, of which he has made a three dimensional silk replica.
