As part of the UNCHARTED exhibition, which explores our relationship with the Earth, its visible and invisible boundaries, and the stories we create to understand its transformations. On view from 19.09 to 06.12.2025.
From a removed kidney stone to the pillaged quarries of Palestine and the lava fields of Fogo eroded by climate change, Apple Cider Vinegar weaves an intimate and political investigation. Sofie Benoot's playful yet committed film-essay explores stone as both a physical object and a metaphor — connecting our bodies, the Earth, and systems of oppression. Each stone becomes a witness to a fractured world.
A discussion will take place between the filmmaker and Augustin Dekoninck, expert in mineral resources.
